CCFI Norman

My latest freelance project was building a completely new website for the Center for Children and Families in Norman, OK. After toiling with a web design company that sucked all their money for the project without delivering a solid product, CCFI still needed a website. All they wanted was a simple website that they could easily make changes to, but the company could not deliver.
I sat down with CCFI’s representative and friend of mine to discuss their situation, and we worked out a payment that would work for them with their dwindling budget. We agreed on a final price cap with no cost-plus arrangement, as CCFI was tired of balooning costs and bills for work they did even use. I wanted to build the site in Wordpress, and agreed to train their rep in managing the site as part of the cost.
Working out of the ashes of the site delivered from the above mentioned company, I was only able to salvage the bright color scheme, but everything else was pretty much a waste. Working on the nights and one weekend, I had the site built and ready in 4 days. The following week, I worked with CCFI to find a new webhost, install wordpress, and tweak various aspects of the site as they requested, and trained their representative in using wordpress (took about 2 hours).
From start to finish we were both pleased with the site, and the process was relatively quick and painless. Thanks CCFI Norman!
